Production will begin soon on Happy Half Hour, a new television show which will air exclusively on the Myrtle Beach Video Network. The only thing that was standing in the way of getting started was finding the right host for the program.
Management at Myrtle Beach Video Network can check that off the list. One half of the popular "Tommy & Abbi Show" heard weekday mornings on classic rock station, Wave 104.1 has been named as the new host of Happy Half Hour, a weekly show that focuses on happy hour at the Myrtle Beach area's best watering holes. Is it Tommy? Or Abbi? Drum roll, please!.........It's Abbi!
Production on the first episode should get underway next week. Banana Jack Murphy, a partner in Myrtle Beach Video Network says viewers will be in store for a real treat. "She's outgoing, friendly, witty and a lot more attractive than me. Did I say that out loud? I think she's the perfect host for Happy Half Hour." Donald Smith, one of the owners of the network said, "I can see guys in Ohio or Jefferson City, Tennessee checking out the show for one reason only...Abbi!"
Viewers will be able to watch Happy Half Hour online at www.MyrtleBeachVideoNetwork.com and also on Over-The-Top devices, which allow streaming media to be viewed on consumers televisions. Frontlayer Technologies is assisting Myrtle Beach Video Network in the creation of the new network.
