The Legendary Freakin' Deacon Is Coming To Myrtle Beach Video Network

Freakin' Deacon is the host of a brand new show coming soon to Myrtle Beach Video Network, entitled "Freakin' Flashback".  The show will be a humurous, laidback journey through time as Deacon Dawson sits down and reminisces with folks who were around when Myrtle Beach was just beginning to become a major tourist destination.

Deacon Dawson, arrived in Myrtle Beach in 1968.   Somewhere along the way, he stumbled into a broadcasting career and was on the air in Myrtle Beach for more than 25 years.  Dawson has also appeared in numerous movies and television shows.  "He's a real legend around the Myrtle Beach area, but he's also known all over America.", says Banana Jack Murphy.  He adds, "Deacon was one of those personalities that just owned the radio.  He's worked in television and movies with the biggest names in the business.  I can't even begin to explain how excited I am that he's going to be hosting a show on our new network."

"Freakin' Flashback" is sure to be full of laughs as Deacon sits down and chats with Myrtle Beach locals about the good ol' days.  The guest list will look like a Who's Who list of movers and shakers from Myrtle Beach's glorious past.  Production begins soon on this one-of-a-kind program.

Stay Tuned!
